The most epic date in the history of awesomeness.

Since the kids are at Sheila's, Jason and I debated about various things to do tonight since it's the last night of his weekend. We were going to see a show in town, but then it hit me....why stay in town? We have flight benefits! So we decided to look for a direct flight to ANYWHERE that wasn't full up and had plenty of options for getting back tomorrow, and guess what? Chicago won. Oh darn! So this morning we went to the airport and flew to The Windy City. Woo! We wandered around in the cold and had lunch at Giordano's (nice.) checked into our hotel (hey...last minute, in winter, non-peak times=uber cheap! Just sayin'.) then went out for some warm up coffee and headed out to IO to see The Armando Diaz Experience! Julia lives in Chicago so we invited her to come to the theater with us. We laughed our butts off, it was such a phenomenal show! Oddly enough I ran into a few people at the theater who I have only one degree of separation from via other improvisers I know from various cities! Sweet! We are having an absolute blast!
