Saturday night on the town

Tonight was one of those extremely rare Saturday nights where we had nothing going on. Naturally, we decided to hit the town! We went to the 39th St. neighborhood area and had coffee and went in to Prospero's books (thinking of you, Jen!) We walked around a bit then decided to head to Brookside to see what there was to see. After a breif time there we decided to hit the Plaza and we walked up and down Brush Creek. Leigha caught some lightning bugs and I took some great pictures of the dazzling sunset. There were gondolas on the creek, which was cool. I didn't know we had that here. After a while Jason's knee was bothering him pretty bad so we called it a night. As we drove home we were treated to some fireworks from an unknown source. A perfect end to a low key night out on the cheap.
