This morning we packed up and drove down to Jason's mom's for the fourth of July weekend. We got a head start on the holiday by grilling hamburgers and hot dogs for dinner, then taking the boat out on the lake. There was, in fact, a dog onboard. We pulled into a cove and went swimming for a bit, then found a spot to watch some fireworks. Aw yeah. Interesting sidebar-did you know that roughly 60% of Americans answer the question, "which country did we win our independence from?" wrong? That's pathetic.
