I wis that.

The girls and I went to the Kansas City Saint Patrick's Day Parade today. It was fun! We stood at the corner of 39th and Broadway among the crowd and watched an awful lot of cars filled with waving people. There were also big balloons and such, and on that particular corner is a rather low hanging wire, so we got to see everyone struggle to get their balloons under it. Amusing! Especially the GINORMOUS Saint Patrick balloon, which they actually have to tilt downward so he's limbo-ing under it. Fantastic! When the parade was over, Leigha expressed disappointment that Keyboard Cat was not around to play them off. Nice. Since we were right there we enjoyed Jimmy John's for lunch. I had an extra rehearsal tonight with Project Improv as well. We have a show this Saturday night and needed to get the format down. It ended up being a huge blast and incredibly productive. Woot! Hooray for giant confidence boosts!
