We drove to Minot, ND early this morning. The trip up was pretty uneventful for a 13 hour endeavor, and we arrived just before 5pm. Sam and I used to live in Denver, but four years ago we moved to Kansas City, and last year she and Patrick moved to Minot. (Air force) What other reason do people have to visit North Dakota? So here we are. We visited this evening and the kids played in the yard until we stuck them in bed. As it got later I realized I hadn't gotten a picture yet, so I said, 'Sam, we need to get a picture!' After a few takes neither of us was happy with the result, so she said, 'Hey, why not just make lame faces and be done with it?' And that's exactly what we did.

Oh yeah, and North Dakota is the 43rd state I've been to. Ker-ching!
